It seems that the rising tensions between Qatar and UAE, KSA, Egypt and several other countries in the region, has forced it to scramble for alternative partnerships with other countries such as Lebanon and Pakistan.
A few years ago Lebanese and Pakistani citizens would only dream of such privilege. Even if they were BORN in Qatar they wouldn’t get visa on arrival entry.
However, there are some qualifying criteria:
1- Passport must be valid for at least 6 months
2- The passenger must have a confirmed return ticket
3- The traveller has cash equivalent to 5000 Riyal or a valid credit card
4- The visa is only valid for 30 days but may be extendable for another 30 days
5- Pakistanis coming directly from Pakistan must present a certificate of polio vaccination
Hopefully we get to see some more diverse relationships between Qatar and other Arab counties in the region.
